What is the difference between fiberglass fan and carbon steel fan? What are the advantages

With the development of the times and the improvement of technology, the application of glass fiber reinforced plastic fans in various industries is becoming increasingly common. So, compared to carbon steel fans, what is the difference between them? What are the advantages of fiberglass fan?

1. Different weights; The density of fiberglass material is about 2.0, while the density of carbon steel material is about 7.0. If the same model of fiberglass fan and carbon steel fan are used, their weight will be different. Whether it’s fan disassembly or later maintenance, lightweight fiberglass fans are more convenient to use than carbon steel fans.

2. Different energy consumption; When using the same power, the air volume of the fiberglass fan is about 40% higher than that of the carbon steel fan. However, fans are important ventilation equipment in the production process of enterprises, and their operation time lasts for a long time. Choosing fiberglass reinforced plastic fans can better save energy consumption.

3. Different service lives; The fiberglass material has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and its hardness is also stronger than carbon steel material. Therefore, the service life of fiberglass fans is longer than that of carbon steel fans. Generally speaking, regular maintenance and repair can have a service life of 10 years or more. Although there may be aging in the material, it does not affect its function. Carbon steel fans are prone to corrosion and have a relatively short service life.

So, some users have to ask, is there any disadvantage between fiberglass fans and carbon steel fans? Of course, the temperature resistance of fiberglass fans is not as good as that of carbon steel fans. Generally, in operating environments where the temperature exceeds 50 ℃, such as food processing and dust removal industries, carbon steel fans with strong heat resistance will be selected.

The four major advantages of fiberglass negative pressure fans are that high-temperature air generates water vapor through the water curtain, which lowers the temperature and generates a large amount of negative ion oxygen, thereby increasing the oxygen content in the workshop, effectively regulating the emotions of workers, and improving work efficiency. 1. The fan casing is made of corrosion-resistant fiberglass, which has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, rust resistance, and long service life. 3. The TPi6206 bearing is used as the rotating bearing. The bearing is processed by CNC to ensure good concentricity, and the shaft center is processed with an external circle to ensure concentricity and smoothness, thereby ensuring the stability and durability of the entire bearing operation.

1. Low investment and energy consumption. At the same cooling rate, the one-time investment is about one-sixth of that of air conditioning, and the operating cost is about one-tenth of that of air conditioning;

2. The air is fresh and moist. The air cleanliness can reach 90-97% or above;

3. High temperature air generates water vapor through the water curtain, which lowers the temperature and generates a large amount of negative ion oxygen, thereby increasing the oxygen content in the workshop, effectively regulating the emotions of workers, and improving work efficiency.

4. The effect is obvious and the cooling is strong. In summer, it can cool by more than 5 to 15 degrees Celsius, and the higher the temperature, the greater the cooling range (indoor temperature can drop to around 25 degrees Celsius);

Each fan delivers 2375-20356 cubic meters of air to the factory building every hour, 20356-55000 cubic meters, for indoor and outdoor air exchange, that is, at least once a minute for indoor fresh air exchange.
