Negative pressure fan is the latest type of fan, belonging to axial flow fan. It is called negative pressure fan because it is mainly used in negative pressure ventilation and cooling engineering. Ventilation principle

The negative pressure fan discharges air outward to reduce the indoor air pressure, and the indoor air becomes thinner, forming a negative pressure zone, and the air flows into the room due to the compensation of air pressure difference. In the practical application of the industrial plant, the negative pressure fan is installed on one side of the plant, the air inlet is on the other side of the plant, and the air flows from the air inlet to the negative pressure fan to form a convection blow. During this process, the doors and windows close to the negative pressure fan remain closed, and forced air flows into the workshop through the compensation of the doors and windows at the air inlet side. The air flows into the workshop from the air inlet, flows through the workshop and is discharged from the workshop by the negative pressure fan. The ventilation is complete and efficient, and the ventilation rate can reach 99%. Through specific engineering design and air change speed and wind speed design as required, any high heat, harmful gas, dust and smoke can be quickly discharged from the workshop, and any poor ventilation problem can be completely solved at one time. The ventilation effect can be achieved within a few seconds from starting the fan.

 

Cooling principle

 

  • Air cooling: the temperature of places requiring ventilation is higher than that of outdoor places due to the heat sources such as buildings, machinery and equipment, human body, etc. The negative pressure fan can quickly exhaust the hot air in the room, so that the room temperature and the outside temperature are at the same level, and the temperature in the workshop will not rise.

  • The air flow takes away the heat of the human body, and the air flow accelerates the evaporation of sweat to absorb the heat of the human body, thus making the human body feel cool, as cool as the natural wind.

  • The negative pressure fan has only the function of ventilation and cooling, and has no refrigeration function. Cooling is the feeling of human body. It is ignorant to say how much temperature the negative pressure fan can drop.

  • It can be used with water curtain to control the temperature in the workshop within 28 ℃ in the hottest summer. However, the cool feeling of human body can be compared with that of air conditioner. People who face the water curtain for a long time will feel cold and can’t stand it.

Type classification

The main models include 1380 * 1380 * 400mm 1.1 kW, 1220 * 1220 * 400mm 0.75 kW, 1060 * 1060 * 400mm 0.55 kW, 900 * 900 * 400mm 0.37 kW. The rotational speed of all galvanized square negative pressure fans is 450 rpm, the motor is 4-pole 1400 rpm, the motor protection class is IP44, and the motor insulation class is B. Some smaller negative pressure fans have lost their significance as negative pressure fans due to low air volume, high noise and low exhaust efficiency, and will not be described here. The suction efficiency of relatively large negative pressure fan is higher and more energy-saving. The FRP bell-shaped negative pressure fan can be divided into belt type and direct-connected type according to the transmission structure. The belt type has a rotational speed of 370-450 rpm. The six-pole or four-pole aluminum shell motor has a protection grade of IP55 F insulation. The noise of the products with low rotational speed is relatively low. There are three types of direct-type motors: 12-pole 440 rpm, 10-pole 560 rpm and 8-pole 720 rpm. Belt type products are the most energy-saving, economical and durable, and direct-connected products are suitable for use in places where the belt type can not work, such as greasy dirt and corrosion to the belt. There are 6, 7, 3 and 5 blades of the GRP bell-shaped negative pressure fan. The blades are mainly made of die-cast aluminum alloy, engineering plastics (nylon plus fiber) and GRP. The blades with different blade numbers, blade angles and radians need to be reasonably matched with the speed and power. A single data cannot explain the suction performance of the fan.

  • Check whether the fiberglass negative pressure fan is damaged during transportation.

  • Check whether all parts are loose during installation. If you are not sure, you can tighten them again
  • When powering on, professional electricians should be invited to distribute power. The control switch should have phase loss protection, leakage protection, current overload protection, etc. The wires and cables used should be able to bear the load of motor current. The joints of wires should be insulated with electrical tape. All lines should be buried in the trunking and conduit according to the requirements of the specification.
