The use of a wet curtain automatic cooling system can effectively improve the temperature and humidity of the air inside, while also reducing the concentration of harmful gases in the house, ensuring the healthy growth of the pig herd.

Composition of wet curtain cooling system

The motor and water pump of the wet curtain fan suck fresh air from outside the house into the fan chamber, allowing the outside air to flow at high speed through the wet paper curtain surface. Due to the evaporation of water, the temperature of the incoming air is lower than that of the air outside the wet curtain fan. At the same time, the fan sends the wet and cool air to the pigsty to cool it down.

Working principle and structure of wet curtain fan

The wet curtain air cooler is composed of a special corrugated honeycomb paper with a large surface area, an efficient energy-saving fan system, a water circulation system, a floating ball valve water replenishment device, and a power supply system.

The fan system is composed of a fan and an efficient energy-saving motor, while the water circulation system is composed of a small water pump and a water delivery duct. The working principle is that when the fan is running, negative pressure is generated in the machine chamber, causing air outside the machine to flow into the porous and moist wet curtain surface and enter the chamber. At the same time, the water circulation system operates, and the water pump sends the water in the water tank at the bottom of the machine chamber along the water delivery duct to the top of the wet curtain, making it fully wet. The water on the surface of the paper curtain evaporates under the high-speed air flow state, taking away a large amount of latent heat, The temperature of the air flowing through the wet curtain is forced to be lower than the temperature of the air outside the machine, that is, the temperature at the outlet of the wet curtain fan is 5 to 12 ℃ lower than the outdoor temperature. The drier and hotter the air, the greater the temperature difference, and the better the cooling effect.

Due to the fact that the air is always introduced from outside to inside, it can maintain the freshness of indoor air; Meanwhile, due to the principle of evaporative cooling, this machine has dual functions of cooling and improving air quality.

Using a cooling system in a pigsty not only effectively reduces the temperature inside the pigsty and improves the humidity of the air inside, but also introduces fresh air to reduce the concentration of harmful gases inside the pigsty.

This system effectively improves the temperature, humidity, and airflow of the air in the pigsty through overall control, providing the most suitable environment for various types of pig herds, and ensuring the goal of improving the production performance of the pigsty at the minimum stress level.
